Black Prince fairrers rasp

Has anyone used a Black Prince rasp for making a knife . it looks very old and I'm sure its good steel but can't find any information on them .

Sorry, I've only worked with Heller Rasps. Which make a fine blade.

I stopped making knives 25 years ago. After seeing pictures of bush craft knives I decided to jump back in. This is my first knife after that long lay off.
I've really enjoyed the heat treating process . I'm still working on my gas forge and I'm also building a vacuum system for stabilizing scales.

This was made from a Diamond rasp from Brazil. I'm not sure if this one good steel or was case hardened. I did check the tang after heating and quinching and snapping it off in the vice.

I'm now searching for rasp known to be of good steel.
