The more I look at the Ram The more I like it. I know it is smaller than my ZT0500, but the lock works the same way, correct? For those who have one, all I have to do is push the button........just one button..........and it will be ordered, is it worth the cost of admission? I'm really wanting convinced, so if you have any negatives to post, DON'T!!;);):D So help a brother out........

Bullet bitten, button pushed, I have a black RAM coming my way!!:D:D

Talk to me and give a review as I can't find too much on this knife and I KNOW there has to be a lot written about it!

Let me see if I can find the link to a very fine review someone did
on the RAM...........

Edit: Here's the link.

Now what we need is a black RAM II. Same design, just with a blade about 1/2-3/4 inches longer.

psst phillip.....i should have the black ram within the next week and ill mount both sets on it with pictures for all. then a bit later ill buy the other two :)

Got a question. I've looked at two different sales sites and one shows the black Rams with 14c268n blade steel, the other shows blade steel as 13c26. Anyone know for certain? Can't find the black Ram listed on Kershaw's site.

Thomas said the one I got from him was 13C26. New production will be 14C28N.

To find it on the Kershaw site, search for "R.A.M." Or use the Product Name pull-down.

Yeah, did some research AFTER I posted the question and found where you had asked that question of Thomas. OK, that answers my question, and I'm sure the 13C26 will do just fine for me. Btw, thanks for answering riffraff!:D

I have a RAM with the satin blade but it's a "1st production 1/500". Should I lock this one up, or does it not have any extra value?

It "may" add extra value latter on down the road. I put mine up
and ordered 2 more plus the all black one. I EDC one with cocobolo
scales made by firebert. firebert took the pic of the one dressed in
cocobolo.

Nice work on the inlays! I'm looking forward to adding desert ironwood to mine, but for now i'm busy making handles for boker subcoms and trances.

In my opinion, the R.A.M. has the highest bang-for-the-buck rating of any lockblade available, like the SAK in the slipjoint world.

Black RAM has landed and I LIKEY!!! It does look cute next to the MUDD!! Came out of the box like a 3.125" scapel!:D:D
