Black Ram decision

You damn straight I am!!!:D:D:thumbup: It hasn't displaced my ZT0500, but it will get carried on light days. That flipping action is soooooo sweet, as that blade literally flies out and into lockup in an instant. The lock just flat out works! There is no blade movement at all when that blade goes into lockup, just like my MUDD. Been reading where some have bounced around the idea of a larger version, say a 3.5" blade. I say if it gets made bigger, go all the way and put a 4.0" blade at .157" thick, like the ZT0500. Then instead of being a medium sized bada** knife, which it already is, it will be a large sized bada** knife!!:D:thumbup::thumbup:

Hey cutter,
+1 on everything you said about flipping speed and lockup. Is it not one of the smoothest flippers you have ever handled? Lockup is solid as can be.

Believe it or not, this Knife flips fo smoothly that AG Russel listed it as an assisted opener, and even after Gavin Hawk himself contacted Russel and said, "No, there is no assist on this knife.", Russel didn't believe him:D

One amazing flipper, to be sure.

congrats on getting the black Ram! :) that's what i need to pickup next. can you open it with all 5 fingers yet? i need to work on my left hand! :D
