Greetings knifeknuts! Here’s a new Black River Hunter for your consideration, named after my favorite place on earth in eastern Arizona.

Steel is 5/32” x 1 1/2” in 8670 with professional HT at 60/61. Hand sanded to 600 grit for a satin finish. The edge was less than .010” before sharpening and it's very sharp. It balances behind the first pin and the swedge flares at the tip for extra strength.

Dimensions: 10” OAL, Tip to Scales 5 3/4”

A beautiful Ironwood handle is sculpted for a very comfortable fit. It’s sanded to 1200 grit with stainless pins and lanyard (I forgot to clean up the tube before photos). The handle feels great in my average sized hand with room to spare. A small check emerged during shaping on the left scale right at the finger choil as shown in the closeup picture. There are a couple of other very minor ones, as is common with Ironwood. Your choice of blaze orange or mottled paracord is included for the lanyard.

The last one with Ironwood was $190 IIRC and so I’m asking only $175 to your US door due to the checking, and of course your satisfaction is my only priority. Paypal G&S Only, check or MO, and the price includes fees and free shipping in the US. DO NOT mention knife, blade or similar in any payment descriptions, just leave it blank. The world is getting stupider by the day.

Thanks so much for looking and please feel free to ask anything here or via PM.

If I were not saving assiduously for a kmg grinder chassis and running gear to go with my variable speed old school motor, I'd want this knife in dark handle to go with mine in the Japanese privet with its light earth tone.

Man I’m debating it. I just bought a romeo 5 for my AR and I’m waiting on another maker to finish up a batch for this edc in ABE-L I’m gonna buy. I keep asking my wife if her brother or dad would like a knife for Christmas. She just keeps rolling her eyes 😂

Unreal that this beautiful knife is still on the board. What a pair that would be! This elegant dark handled one, and my similar knife in light scales. It really is difficult to keep saving for a kmg grinder and steel cutting band saw. And always that great sheath.
