Greetings and salutations to all! Here’s a new Black River Hunter for your consideration, named after my favorite place on earth in eastern Arizona.

Steel is 5/32” x 1 1/2” in NitroV with professional HT at 60/61. Hand sanded to 1200 grit for a satin finish. The edge was around .012” before sharpening, it balances behind the first pin and the swedge flares at the tip for extra strength.

Dimensions: 10 1/16” OAL, Tip to Scales 5 3/8”

Beautiful Osage Orange scales are sculpted for a very comfortable fit. It’s sanded to 1200 grit with stainless pins and lanyard. Accented with sky blue G10 liners. The handle feels great in my average sized hand with room to spare. Your choice of blaze orange or mottled paracord is included for the lanyard.

Asking only $SOLD to your US door, and of course your satisfaction is my only priority. Paypal (G&S Only please), check or MO, and the price includes fees and free shipping in the US.

Thanks Murphjd25 Murphjd25 and cbach8tw cbach8tw I really appreciate your kind compliments. I think it's a fine all around versatile design for knife work.

Oh Look here's one of my buds from the Black River came for a visit:

BR10.jpg

I used to see herds of these guys on every trip, 30-40 at a time. There's a picture on my wall with a dozen. When they reintroduced the Mexican Gray Wolf they scattered and now it's a treat to see one or two. I've seen the wolves too. Three coming down a ridge to a crossing and I was coming from the other side. We had a Mexican standoff and after they left I waited a half hour extra to cross. What a sight!

Lovely knife and sheath. That Ossage should also darken and age nicely, making an even better pop of color from the nice bright liners!

Hi Bigfattyt Bigfattyt I got the Osage for a custom order a while back and this is my second use with more to surely come. I'm really liking the look too. Thanks for your kind compliment.

Now that i am a proud member of the Black River club,i can say that pictures are not doing justice to this knife. You must hold one in hand to fully apreciate it.Thank you John!
