The latest in my Black & Tan series is this tanto with an overall length of 8 7/16" and a blade of 3.75". This one is 1095 with a full convex blade (the edge has a microbevel so you can sharpen it just like you would a flat grind or hollow grind) and Japanese-style clay coated heat treat. I did a very light etch which looks great in person but I had trouble photographing well! The handle is epoxy soaked hemp with black diamond wrap over it (also epoxy soaked). My marking tools bounced when I marked the tang, so this one is marked "SSA" instead of of my usual "SA" which I think makes it much more valuable! 
Actually, I'll take a decent amount off what I intended to sell this knife for and make it available at $165 shipped in the USA, no additional Paypal fees (also accept money order or cashier's check, and will offer $5 discount for those forms of payment). I can provide a Concealex sheath upon request, but this one really needs leather, which I don't do. The Concealex will beat up the subtle finish, but it's your knife so if you want plastic, you got it!
