Hi fellas:
I hope you like this monster camp knife I made out of CPM-154. The spine thickness is over a 1/4" at .275" so, there's some heft on this blade - with the tapered tang you're going to get some momentum behind this knife. I spent a lot of time on the handle to eliminate any hot spots - it's nice and smooth. This beast was taken to 600 grit, then super fine scotch brite belt, then a light buff. The full flat grind goes all the way up to the spine - the edge is convex ground and scary sharp. I see a lot of knifemakers saying that the edge is "hair poppin' sharp" so I thought it would be fun to insert a video clip showing Black Thunder cut a sheet of phone book paper and "poppin' hair! Just click on my gut.
I'm holding on making the sheath so that the buyer can choose between leather or kydex. The first "I'll take it" gets it. $400 plus $20 shipping - payment by Paypal preferred to my account tksteingass@frontier.com Maker's lifetime common sense warranty and free sharpening. Backup orders welcome.
Best regards,
TK
