Blade thickness? Micarta or G-10? Inquiring minds want to know . . .

Thanks for the quick info!

Hmmm. In this situation its usually the other way around. 🤔 I'm sure you can still sell it with a small scratch at a lesser price if it was originally mint.

I'd think a little flitz might take care of it.
Unfortunately, Flitz cannot remove actual scratches in the metal. (When it happened, I actually ran to the bottle of Flitz and tried! 😂 )

Yes, kinda. I really like this knife and was only going to sell it if someone wanted it more than I did and was willing to pay my admittedly high price for it. Now I don't think I can ask for that price, and I'd rather keep it as a user myself. But thank you (and a few others) for checking me on this. I was indeed not in the best state of mind when this happened at 1am last night after a long and challenging day at work. Thank you. I'm reinspired to relist it for a little less.

No worries. Either way very cool uncommon blade from the good old days.
Game warden is a favorite for edc.
….I’ll stop mucking up this sales thread lol

Black Ties do not come up often, post some pics and let potential buyers mull it over. You might be surprised in the interest, I've used the calipers on my micrometer and never managed to scratch the surface. The Busse team may even be able to clean it up (spa treatment) at a reasonable cost or fairly easily by the buyer with the right materials (high grit polish, sandpaper, etc.). Good luck w/the potential sale (solid user otherwise).
