black wood and Damascus fighter

Here are a couple of pictures of a fighter I managed to get out this winter. I am not sure if I care for the damascus spacer now that it is done. The blade is a five bar composite of oppossing, interrupted, twisted w's made from 01 and L6 and the guard is 416 stainless.

The flat facet on the side of the handle really sets off the whole piece. Amazing.

Do you have a close up photo of the blade? I'd love to see the pattern more closely.
