Phillip, I'd like to know how wide the blade is (or height? 2 inches?) and there is no hardening line on the blade so it is not "differentially" heat treated but hardened through?

The blade is just over 1-7/8" at the widest.

This blade was clay hardened, but the hamon is very subtle.

Very nice bowie!! Beautiful sculpted handle and lots of character in the blackwood. Terrific multi-use blade profile and the guard with spacers sets this one off nicely!!
