Original black scales are not included. Custom Cuscadi Scales have been fitted, along with a Benchmade deep-carry pocket clip. This is a perfect example of a Griptilian. The lock-up is solid, the blade is razor sharp, and the deployment is buttery smooth. I've opened some mail, and cut up some cardboard with it. Honed on a Sharpmaker, and stropped. Has seen very light use, and has been carried around the house some, though you wouldn't be able to tell. The scales are brand new, and unused in any way.
