Another of Dad's knives. This knife was made by Bench Mark (no affiliation with Bench Made) in Gastonia, NC back in the late 1970s or early 1980s. Blackie Collins designed this knife and was at some point a part owner in the Bench Mark company, which I believe was acquired by Gerber in the 1980s. This is not the same company that currently sells Chinese made knives, although apparantly the name has survived through several acquisitions. 3.85" blade of 440C steel, overall length of 8.56". This knife appears to be unused and never sharpened, however there is a chip missing on the rear of the handle. Have no idea how or when this happened. Currently one of these rare knives is listed on eBay for $475.00. Asking $350 shipped to you.

Just a heads up ... you may want to read the exchange rules (you can find them at the top of this page) the "net to me" isn't allowed.
