Blackjack knives

I have one of their folding "Yukon Skinners", which I gave ~$25 for back in the early 90's.
I understand it's now a collectable...??

Does Blackjack make folders anymore?

No, I do not think they make any folders now. They were only made by the early Blackjack company and they were all imported from Japan. Their current import line does not include any folders like the old Yukons and Mambas.

Bummer! I loved the blade shape on these guys. :)

Thanks.

One of my favorite belt or hip pocket knives for camping, hiking and hunting uses is a Blackjack Small made in Japan of VG10. It has a full convex grind that, according to Mike of Black Jack and BRKT, was introduced by the Japanese makers after he taught them that technique.

Mine has a stacked leather handle and is the most versatile small knife that I own. It's also the sharpest, out of the box knife, that I ever encountered. Ken Warner was secretive as to who made my knife, but the quality was indicative of Seki City best quality.

I have the Halo model pictured above....All I will say is that it made me want to sell some of my other knives. Its that good. You will not be disappointed.

Got my Halo today...wow! What a knife! Perfect 10 out of 10 for me.

Blackjack 1-7" is a really sharp blade in A-2. BRKT Bravo-2 is a bigger camp knife/chopper. Gotta love US made. As for warranty my experiences with the shop in Escanaba, MI have been low-stress and blades returned within 2-3 weeks. They craft quality edges. IMO.
