Blackjack Panga info please.

I have an opportunity to purchase a Panga.All I know about it is that it is 19 3/4 inches overall with a black coated 1095 blade and Kraton handle.

Can someone tell me the blade thickness and hardness?

Is this a good blade or just an expensive machete? I like pointed machetes and like the design of the Panga but is it built any better than something like the Condor Combat machete?

It's 1/8" thick. I dunno about the hardness.

Yeah it's basically an expensive machete....but it is a good one. It's light, fast and fun to use.

it's not built any better than the condor, but is a completely different tool/weapon.
the feel is totally different between the two blades.
I use both and like both. the new pangas are much thicker than the old original ones.
