Does anyone have any experience with these, its the 2 knives on one leather sheath, I believe its the blackjack grunt and their Kukri, with a brown leather sheath. I was thinking this would be a cool set up to have to play with, I don't really need it....just thought it might be fun to have, you know? just slap it on and go kind of thing.
 
I have a Grunt and it's a probably the best all round knife I have, Great handle ,great convex edge, perfect size !!!

I too have the Grunt, however the only Khukuris I own are HI and CS. As for the Grunt, pitdog gave a very good assessment. For the price, it's a great blade in the 5-5.5" blade range. Convex edge is excellent and the handle is very ergonomic unless you have an aversion to the rubber handle.

I just did a google search for blackjack knives, and all kinds of stuff pops up, I know this is the second or third time they have come around as a company,. and I never followed them very closely, so...I have no idea, I just saw the set, and thought it looked like it would be a good setup. I am skeptical about stainless on a chopper, but I think the blade is onlyt 12 inches, so it might be fine. The sheath looks to be of high quality, which is a factor for me. I love knives, but you need a way to carry them.
 
Oh, Pitdog...I knew you would chime in...lol. I love the pics you post, and have seen your Grunt enough that I could pick it out of a lineup...lol. Gene

Yeah if I was buying a large chopper I too would think twice about getting one in stainless but at the same time I think good old Aus 8 may be a little less prone to chipping than some of the new super edge holding stainless steels.
I know some companies are now even making axes out of stainless so maybe it is not as bad as we think it is !!!
