Original Blackjack Trail Guide -
made in Effingham, IL, USA -
A-2 Tool steel -
full convex zero bevel grind
handle is somewhat unusual - it's an imitation ivory - that's supposed to be similar in durability to Micarta
(despite the age - it does not seem to have yellowed like ivory Micarta)

Nice, very classy and classic knife from Blackjack, Ken Warner needs to start making them again instead of the less wanted newer styles.

I like this one the moment I saw it. It is one of those things in life! :)

Beautiful knife! I've got one in the standard black Micarta. The knife is as sharp and stout as they come. Ken Warner should seriously consider making this baby again in the original materials as it is a true classic in form and function. My Trail Guide is one of those keeper knives that'll never get sold, traded or given away.

I really love the looks of yours!

All the best,
Mike U.
