It's all your fault Bladite. After you started this thread, we just had a Power Outage for hours today. Thanks a lot. LOL

It was a Blackout in the Daylight and it was scary.

My ex & I lost power for 3 days and 2 nights due to an ice storm.

Cooking was done on the grill. Yum!

Thank God the water heater was gas powered. Brrrrrrr showers suck in the winter.

Power is never out for long at my house. We have 3 generators now. 1 Generac 5500 & 2 Honda Eu2000i's with a parellel power kit for camping & what not. Be prepared & self sufficient as is possible. Better to have it & not need it, than, to need it & not have it. NO one "borrows" them either.

Haha, Last longer black out we had was 3 days long or so. Neighbor (the one we hate) had a generator going for his AC at like 3AM. Had to call the cops make him shut it off. No one could get any sleep with that pos running.

In blackouts I play with my flash lights of course. But I do that when I have power anyway...

Power outages don't happen that often here (maybe once a year)
It's a great time to test my collection. Se which lights are useful.
It's also nice to take out a thrower and go for a walk.

I start fire, get some whisky and enjoy.
