Forged these from 1084 tonight, kitchen knife shape and a blacksmith knife, was kind of going for kitchen knife shapes for both of them.

I like both shapes. The blacksmith style one might be a nice parer if it's thin enough -- the other is
a great shape but maybe a little short for my tastes.

Used my little kiln for the first time to HT these two, have to say 1500 sure doesn't look like 1500. Never seen such little warp either, and they are thin!

I love the top one Sam. Personally I think it would look a little more balanced if the spine were smoothed towards the tip but it looks good either way.

Those are 3x136" belts they are sitting on by the way Dan :D

Oops, you're right, I was guessing 2x72" so they're half again as long. Still nicely shaped and IMHO more
useful length on the first one.

Now I'll whine again :-) The cord wrap looks comfortable but I'm not sure it's a very good choice around food
because there are too many places for stuff to get in and rot even if you epoxy it.
