I make a few knives for the reenactment folks, trying to keep them as authentic looking as possible. I have never tried to sell one here but thought there might be some buckskinners that look in once in a while.

Forged from 1095
Flat grind with hammer marks along the spine
The red oak handle has been stained with a mixture of iron and vinegar. (The wood has been professionally stabilized but looks natural with this stain)
Length open is 8 inches

Another spectacular knife, love the smithwork. By the way, I am extremely pleased with the Clipped and Twisted i picked up from you last week. It is just as impressive in person.

I really like this. Thanks for sharing.
I wouldn't mind seeing more like this around.
I might be back

After looking at the photos for a while I decided that the brass looked a little too bright for this knife so I forced a patina to make it look older.
