Blacksmiths?

I am new here, and have dream of learning to make swords. Do you know of any smiths who do this and are willing to teach their trade?

Tell us where you're located. There are lots of knife and sword makers who would be happy to have someone stand around the shop for a while .

Actually I'm looking for a blacksmith I can learn from anybody know of one in central AL around Montgomery ?
