Hi All, Happy New Year.

First offering this year is a neat 1084 skinning/hunting blade. This was a challenging blade for me at my current skill level. There are some very minor fit and finish issues that you may spot upon close inspection, however, I am happy with the finished product I think the offering price is very fair, taking in account the minor fit and finish issues. The heat treat came out very well, and with a full hallow grind this one is an atom-splitter and will not disappoint in the field. Here are the specs:

Steel - Coal forged Aldo's 1084, normalized 3X, computer controlled heat treat with pronounced Hamon, acid wash finish, tempered 3X.
Blade - Hallow ground measuring 4.5" from plunge to tip. 3/16" Thick at Ricasso and 1.5" wide at plunge.
Handle - Full tapered tang, white spacers, ironwood bolster, copper single branch guard, split Blacktail crown scales.
Weight - 8.2 ounces with balance at the bolster.
Sheath - Hand tooled 9-10 oz. leather with ironwood handled fire steel in a loop

Asking SOLD US Dollars Shipped on this one.

Very impressive example of form AND function, can't wait to see what happens when your "skill level" increases!

Damn I wish I had the funds right now.....this would be sooooo gone. Beautiful work and I have always liked how copper can really set off a knife.
