I just received my second custom knife from Neil Blackwood (DR LATHE). My first was one of his small hunters. The second is his Tanto neck knife. There has already been a review of this knife and his small hunter on the review forum. Mine has jeweled iodized titanium scales that really catch the eye. I also received both the neck and belt sheath. Both made out of kydex. I cannot get over the workmanship and skill it must have taken to make the Blackwood knives I own. Long before I bought one of his knives he was always available to answer any questions about knife making or his knives. I highly recommend him to anyone and everyone. My only problem with my new knife is that I can’t bear to put a scratch on it. Thanks Neil

Thanks Drac,
Seeing this post made my whole night! I appreciate it. I enjoy talking knives and also our Email conversations over the past few months. Now we are going to have to talk on the phone regarding the belt grinder thing! I'm looking forward to that also.
