I wish I could capture the true beauty of the rag micarta, but my photographic skills are at the low Novice stage. Now I know why so many knifemakers are lusting after it. Neil, is the Liquid Metal hybrid Hunter a small, or medium size ???
Good point!! Now that you mention it, that's a Talonite SMALL Hunter with the desert ironwood!:footinmou
Due to the size of the Liquid Metal stock I obtained, I made that knife from an early Small Hunter pattern. That's why they're about the same size. Both those knives are approx. 3/4" shorter overall, than the current Small Hunters/Hybrids. I made a BUNCH of them that way when I first started. Due to the demand for an actuall 3.5" blade, I ended up stretching the pattern.
Blackwood Talonite med. Hunter w/ beautiful stag handles.....
Supposedly the only other one, out of two made. Neil feel free, to give us some history on this beautiful Blackwood
Thanks to Todd762 for the awesome Hunter
