Neil Blackwood Mini Skirmish flipper - This is one of 2 special Mini Skirmish flippers made by Neil. It has a 1095 hamon blade, milled Ti frame, and custom clip. Those of you that know Neil are aware he does not like bearings so this blade is on washers, as are all of Neils knives. The details on this knife are amazing. It has selective, understated anodizing in several places in bronze and blue - a signature Blackwood technique. There is a geared backspacer and on the inside of it is the BLACKWOOD logo. Blade locks up solid and is centered. I bought this knife directly from Neil less than a year ago, and have carried it sparingly; never used it to cut anything. It is in exactly the same condition as when it arrived to me. The imperfection you see in the close-up pic of the pivot is in the stonewash and is how the knife was delivered. Ive priced this knife at over $200 below Neils price.
