This is the first wood handled knife I've made in months. I've been messing so much with stag lately I about forgot how to work wood. The blade was forged out of piece of steel from a rather large lumbermill saw blade and the fitting are wagon wheel wrought iron. This knife was an order from a customer that wanted an identical knife to the one in this link: http://www.bladegallery.com/shopexd.asp?id=2785&websess=21544417184642 Since I don't make patterns it was just made from measurments and photo's. Its close but not exact. I just hope he wasn't wanting a temperline. Since I've been using the type A quenching oil I haven't been able to get the temperlines like I did before the fire.
