Blackwood SPF with Kenny Rowe leather

The knife is Neil's first attempt at a larger blade (the first he has shown to the public) and the sheath is from Kenny Rowe and includes genuine alligator skin insets.

Of course, as soon as it arrived, I called Kenny to place an order for my NEXT Blackwood/Rowe combination...

Brian, I got your back on the specs. I didn't know that you were the lucky bastid who bought this knife right out from under me.

Spear Point Fighter Specs:

12 1/2" overall
7 1/4" tip to guard
3/16" 440c with two-tone finish
3 1/2" sharpened top edge
tapered tang
desert ironwood handle
guard was a carbon-fiber airboat propeller

Sorry for not getting the specs guys. I was getting ready to post them and the baby started crying...then it was time for dinner...



This knife is awesome. I'm not a knife fighter but if I were this knife would be awfully close to the perfect design. I think Neil must have a drawing of my hand in his shop to have fit the handle so well. I'll try to get some more detailed pics up in a little while.

Thanks again for all the kind words. Fortunately all I had to do was drop a little dough. It's Kenny and Neil that deserve all the kudos.

Kenny does fantastic work. PLEASE take more pictures, I'll put them up on my sheath page on the website. I just recieved 3 Medium Hunter sheaths yesterday that aren't as fancy but VERY nice for the price!

Wow! That's one awesome looking blade. Neil does outstanding work with stabilized wood, as this knife shows. And Kenny's pretty good with leather, too!

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I am attempting to take more pictures of this rig but Neil polished the blade to such a high degree that my limited photography skills are unable to get any other good angles without a huge glare from the blade. I'm working on it.
