My second blade is a utility knife. It would also be good for bungholing a deer. OL is 8.875" and the blade is 4" long. The steel is 1/8" 1095 and the handle is Dymondwood. Pins are 3/16" SS, and the tube is 1/4" aluminum (which I won't use again). I tried to get a bright finish, which I found rather difficult. The grinds go nearly all the way up, which wasn't quite what I had in mind, it just got away from me. It feels nice in the hand as the handle is a tad longer than normal.
Number 3 is going to have a guard, I hope, and a maker's stamp.
