Hi Folks,

I was very fortunate this year as the show promoters allowed me to also setup and serve the show, my clients, and ultimately (hopefully?) Blade Magazine. We paid for the privilege to rent this room within the show.

My wife, Susan, joined me along with Tina Hanson (Don Hanson's wife), and the two of them REALLY made a difference in what I was able to accomplish. I can't thank them enough for all the running knives back and forth to the show, and the administration duties they solved.

Having never been to Blade to know, and attempting to forecast how much I could get done was the challenge. Could I edit and print over the course of four days work? Ummmmmm..... as I found out, no. I could not keep up with the demand, nor could my computer or printer, even if I wished to. I did finish about ten images in the early morning hours. Printing from 60mb .PSD files takes time.....

In the end, I promised each and every client what I have ALWAYS done, which is to shoot the images at the show, and take my time to edit them home in my studio. The results were well-worth the short delay. (Makers know that their work takes time and allowed me to proceed as I needed. :D ) As I write this every image has been edited and printed and is ready for mailing. That's one week from the end of the show. I have not let down.

It would be unfair of me to single out makers for their outstanding work. I will leave it to the images and your comments to answer to that.

Thanks for taking the time to look. Please feel free to comment or post a particular favorite.

Thanks to all of the folks who supported the SharpByCoop team that weekend!

Holy crap!!!

Good lord that is freaking awesome Coop!!!

Absolutely breath-taking shots of some of the best stuff out there. I am honored and humbled to have some shots in there.

I think I need to go lie down for awhile!

A virtual who's who of makers, their best current work, showcased by a true pro. For someone unable to attend Blade, this is as good as it gets.. Thanks Coop..

What a feast for the eyes. Thank-you Coop!

OK, So those are all incredible Coop but this one of Don's made me pee myself a little bit.

Now that's what I am talking about!:D

as always, great work, Coop, and thanks.

WOW!
Incredible work by the makers.
Unbelievable images by a master.

Thanks, Coop, job well done

great photos Coop as usual. Wonderful knives to see and I'm sure you were thrilled to be able to handle them all.

You are the master Coop. The Bose Slippie (#2) looks awesome.

How did you select the backgrounds, since I assume you had no prior knowledge of what photos you were taking before the time.

Incredible work by the makers!!

Beautiful photos, Coop. Can't say anything that hasn't been said already.
Thank you for the added effort in sharing these.

Coop,

Wow just your typical excellence in every shot.

Outstanding work, by the makers and by Coop.
Coop's photography has a face as recognizable as the work of many of the best makers. There is one photo that stands out for me and that is the Jensen (#65). I really don't know what I'm looking at there, or why you changed your format for that piece.

Coop,
You need to publish a book of your work. Those images are amazing.

I can't wait to watch you teach at the New Northeast Hammer-in next month!

Coopp, I really enjoyed the album, thanks. I'm a big fan of Jody Mullers work and all I can say is WOW!! That Mike Williams 'hawk is stunning.

Win

Can't say that I have a favorite photo, they are all great. It's also hard to pick a favorite knife. There are too many outstanding ones.
