Blade 2010 My Scores

Hi Bailey

17 inches New Mexico near Raton

360 yds dead on faceing me

I maybe could of waited for him to get closer but I did not want to take any chances

When ya see good ones like that I believe ya shoot um when ya can:D

Joey did that site happen to be in/on the lower pasture of the Vermejo? That is one hell of a place for fine Prong Horns and a pretty big pasture also. It goes from close to Springer, NM to very close to Cimmaron, and then back almost to Raton. Each leg of the triangle is about 20 miles. It is Ted Turner's
Buffalo pasture now.

Speaking of Blade....no one had more fun and enjoyed it more than me. I got to spend quality time with my two boys STevie and Joey and they were both on pretty good behavior. Didn't have to spend a dime of the bail money I saved up for them.

The CKCA banquet was right at absolutely perfect. and the Saturday night dinner was a very, very special time for me. Lots of precious (in terms of value) memories for me.

One parting shot....Joey got one really neat knife from Burt and then he got another one, and it rivals Hartsfield in one way or another. Right, Joey? I almost forgot, I think STevie and Joey are going to be dealers and distributors for Volcan Knives.;)

Paul

Paul time spent with you is always the best time spent

Hey Jason Knight that shout out from Paul is to you :D

Paul, STeven and I tried not to embarace you

I am sure Kevin Jones was glad I did not wonder of into Atlanta at 3 in the morning so he did not have to get yelled at by you in the morning:D

Anything I can do for Matt Diskin would be a pleasure he is one great guy. Hey Matt Viva Las Vegas

Love the stag.
..and sheath.

Joe,

That's one stunning Persian Burt made for you. Congrats to you both.

You were in great form at Blade. You and Pappy made the show for me. Try like heck to make San Antonio, or Paul and I'll get sick trying to scarf all the Tex-Mex by ourselves.

John

Joe, it was great chatting with you, killer Foster piece..now I need one!

Sweet laminated persian  Always love Burt's work  Congrats to you for the great catch, Joe :)

My order was originally for a laminated Bowie from Burt but many probale remember that I switched the order to a Persian style Bowie/Fighter after seeing Thors last year at Blade.
It seems to build such a laminated blade especially the large one is not easy work! You're very lucky to get Burt successfully done it! I switched mine to a six bar damascus ;) How I hope to see it soon :o

And thanks for telling and showing, Joe :)

mohd.

I'm really interested in that Knight military knife.... I can't find photos of it anywhere.....

Joe that Foster is one fantastic blade!!

I'm gonna have to stop looking at your posts. Now I'm thinkin of getting on his list.

Wow thanks so much for all the warm posts

I like all you guys to:D

Ricky I got your email call me 610 657 9515

Petah I will post pics of the Knight when it comes back from Pappy. He had 3 and all sold quick.

Dave it is funny after all these years of knowing your face and talking to you in NY that I never put 2 and 2 together. real pleasure to say the least

Again Thank all of you very much and special thanks to Burt for really going that extra mile to make a knife that is distinctively yours and mine at the same time.

Eric some day I need a few of those pink handled knives for my girls:D

That Bagwell style Bowie ya had was killer as was the rest of your stuff

I spoke to Billy and I am pushing him to make it next year

Great Knife for a great guy. Next year I promise we can spend more time together. You have good taste in knives, and cohorts!

That Foster is STUNNING. Laminate is the way of the future.
(or maybe the present?)

not much else left to say... dramatic comes to mind! The lamination process Burt uses is just amazing.
