Blade 2014

Buck did not win.

However, when I compare the ZT 562CF to the Buck Copper 110, well, I am not so certain.

Which Buck knife do you think should have won what category?

Since the copper 110 is a BCCI knife and not released to the public, I would guess that it was not even considered.

Let me see if I can be more clear. It seems to me that Buck has gotten very little recognition in general in the industry and Blade Show in particular since Blade Show started.

I have the same impression as you. I don't recall or have access to the ten past years of Blade Show winners, unfortunately. However, in the Buck Collector arena the story is different:

Buck's awards since 1982:

1987 - Buck Titanium: Overall Award
1988 - 25th Anniversary Buck 110: Investment Casting Award
1990 - Bucklock I (531): Investor/Collector Award
1994 - Buck Crosslock: Overall Award
1996 - Bucktool: Overall Award
2002 - Buck Knives: Publisher Award
2003 - Buck Revolution XT: Most Innovative American Design Award

I'm happy to stand corrected! With Al Buck, Chuck Buck and Paul Bos having been elected to the Cutlery Hall of Fame it is clear that Buck has received the attention that it deserves. I just wasn't around in any knife community to see it happen.
