Just returned from the NY Show with a Darrel Ralph/Simonich EDC (#9 of 10). Larry from Blade Art has been very diligently assisting me in finding that "perfect" knife with a total customer focus and it finally paid off for both of us. He also promised to not tell my wife how much I spent. Of course, if she finds out it'll cost much more (like half of my income) so I really got an exceptional bargain.
I looked at every table as everyone had something exceptional to offer. After 15 passes around the exhibit hall the draw was back to the Blade Art table. My other personal favorites were the custom Busse's, most of the Striders, the Chris Reeves Sebenzas and the Mayo TNT's.
I had the honor of meeting Mr. Ralph. I appologize for the sweaty palms as I was still recovering from the thought of my wife seeing my check book register. Your attention to detail is mesmerizing as I can't keep my hands off of this knife. It'll be a true honor to cut my finger with it.
So, in summary, it was a pleasure to meet Larry and Vince as well. The combination of Mr. Ralph's work and Larry and Vince's service made it one of the more meaningful purchases of all time. Much thanks to them and to my friends who made me realize how pissed I'd be driving through the Lincoln Tunnel without that knife.
I'll post pictures in the Custom Knife Forum as soon as my Gold Membership kicks in.

Glad to hear of your experience. You really can't beat doing business with Larry and Vince. They are both great, great guys to deal with and will go way out of their way to make sure that you are happy. I just got a WI Sebenza from them and they are a real joy to deal with.

Wish I could have been there. There were some W.D. Pease knives that I would have loved to see at his table...

Best regards and enjoy your new knife.

:)
