This isn't all of them (even though the CC wishes it were:D ) but as most of you know I like CHOPPERS....big, heavy, ugly blades.....well, it just wasn't in my cards to get the SHBM I wanted (THANKS COBALT:grumpy: :D ) So I had to supplement The HOGFSH with a BK9 and a couple of others.

Hey Jason, you got a Becker chopper! Congrats! I like Beckers too.

Great scores on some big choppers! What's the second one down?

Holy Crap!!! Is that EVERY blade Becker made!!!! There was a fellow selling the BK9...he had a pair so I offered him 110 for both...with leather sheaths...not too bad I think.

The 2 are Barry Dawson blades...never heard of him....just really liked the design/feel of these 2 and got a deal I couldn't say "no" to.

Camillus Becker BK-5 Magnum Camp. There are actually three of them there (two with original scales). And there are two of the old Blackjack versions.

Gravelpork, you did sweet on the Beckers! Since Camillus went out of business, eBay prices have nosed way up. $110 for two was an absolute steal.

Love those Barry Dawsons too, especially that top one.
 
Another question... where does the FSH SE come in on thickness? Is it a full-on HOG?

Very nice blades bro! Barry, is a hell of a guy! & makes some nice stuff too!:thumbup: I own a couple of his blades!

Big Hoss, where is Barry located? That big one looks a little like a gigantic kitchen blade. What a sweet chopper! I'm pretty fond of the big choppers myself.

Barry Dawson is a wonderful custom maker with very affortable price, qulity and style of blades.

The guys does not show off, sound off hell a lot, but keep produce great pieces through years.
 
1lb 10 oz, 14 7/8" overall 9.5" actual blade length. .265 thick, black micarta handles. I took down 2 trees about 5" diameter on Sunday after the show. I would have used the HOG but I wanted to take a picture of it new first.

That's what I was thinking - that someone mic'ed one at the table and it was .32 or so. Mine is noticeably thicker than the HHFSH by a good margin. I'm wondering if some of the SEs were different thicknesses. Some have reported only (only?!) .285".
