Blade Blades

This isn't all of them (even though the CC wishes it were:D ) but as most of you know I like CHOPPERS....big, heavy, ugly blades.....well, it just wasn't in my cards to get the SHBM I wanted (THANKS COBALT:grumpy: :D ) So I had to supplement The HOGFSH with a BK9 and a couple of others.

Those are some great ones! I like the Dawsons! Barry does some amazing work with 440C (dunno what steel yours are but that's what mine are) his heat treat is spot on. They're great working blades  he does some great grinding too! If you like his work check out Lynn Dawson (his niece) she was trained/apprenticed by him and does the same basic styling. They come to the Del Mar Gunshow every time :D over here.

Paddling Man,

Is that a Heavy Heart or a standard FSH? I ask, because it looks anorexic next to the SE.

Inquiring minds want to know.

P.S. show us the SFNO:D

Paul,

The Chopper is 440C and the Double Edged one is 5160.....After 2 5" trees the chopper is still shaving hair and the dagger...thing? Well, I am saving that if I ever get to go stick a Pig in Texas!

very nice score Jason. Congrats. Besides you have plenty of Busse Choppers:D

Barry's out of Durango, Colorado. I caught him at a show in Reno and he had many more models than displayed on the website. He has a reputation for swords, but I really like his small (<3" blade) EDC-type models.

Jason,

That doesn't surprise me, Barry definitely knows what he's doing  it'll surve you well. As for the Dagger thing: It's BADASS :D
