how do you carry all your blades?

I carry front left pocket CRKT M21, front right pocket CRKT M21
BAck right pocket benchmade rukus (primary knife).

If i carry a fix blade then it is my home made small tracker in leather steel clip sheath on my lower back under shitrt concealed. sheath in the waist band.

i like practical blades causes i live in africa lol.

I don't carry ALL my blades... I'd need a wheelbarrow.
However, I do usually have 1 - 3 on my person, for various tasks. The breakdown is like this:
One-handed folder (today it's an Emerson CQC-7) either in front right pocket or right hip pocket
Slipjoint in the other (right front or right hip, whichever the one-hander isn't occupying)
Sometimes a fixed blade on my belt

Depends on if I wear cargos on a given day:) For the last week or so, it's a small SAK in a slip case, Delica 4 loose with my Adventura clipped (for this week anyway.....) in my right pocket, Dragonfly loose in my right pocket along with my LM Micra and Gerber Ultra Infinity. Ka-Bar/Dozier folding hunter IWB. Inova X5 and LM Wave II on my belt.

On days I have my cargos, I have a couple of pieces of thin leather that I can clip stuff to (makes it much more discreet in the office:) ), I will add folders depending on what I'm planning to do. For this week, I was also carrying one of my Mini-Grips, BM710D2 and a Delica 4/SE.

When my Calypso 3 gets here (hopefully today.....), I'll have to shuffle things a bit.

I work amongst a bunch of suits, so my EDC is usually limited to 3" blade or shorter. I carry the Byrd Meadowlark (G10) in my back right pocket and sometimes rotate it out with my BM Mini Ambush. In my right front pocket is either a SAK Alox Cadet or Wenger Handyman.

Weekends are different. RAT1 Folder or Byrd Caracara (G10) in right back pocket.

I live rural and spend quite abit of time outside in various activities so I found 3 knives about right. On my left on the belt is one of my own fiixed blades in a high riding sheath, it conceals well under a jacket or even my untucked outer shirt. On my right on my belt is a large Katz locking folder. Clipped to my left pocket is a Spyderco police.

When I'm at work: Small micarta Sebenza tucked away (competely concealed) in my watch pocket, SOG Access Card hidden in my wallet and (if it counts) an SOG Crossgrip loose in my RF pocket.

When I'm not at work I add a Spyderco CF BG-42 Military IWB and carry the small micarta sebenza clipped in the watch pocket instead of tucked away.

Why do you guys carry so many knives? No offense, but isn't that kind of overkill? What can 3-5 blades do short of a survival task, that one, well-rounded folder can't? Just curious.

I often wonder the same thing when I read about people carrying a knife in every pocket along with a couple on their belt. In the end, I suppose it's whatever makes you happy.

Because they feel they need to.

I carry one knife, a Delica 4. I used to carry a slipjoint SAK for use around sheeple, then after a while just stopped caring what the sheeple think.

I carry that SAK to work because I work at a bank, but any other time (Even work events outside of the bank) the Delica 4 is clipped to my pocket. I have yet to find a task it couldn't do.

I carry multiple tools and knives because I can and I want to:p. When I am working I have either my Leatherman Charge XTi or my SwissTool Spirit with ratchet on my belt, one of my larger folders (Sebenza, Manix, Lone Wolf) on my belt, a smaller folder in one of my pockets in my cargo pants/shorts. All serves a purpose and a reason to have.

Numerous knives, usually folder clipped to the inside of my front right pocket, a backup knife, usually smaller either clipped to my left pocket or hidden in another leg pocket when I wear cargos...At least 1 day of the week I EDC a BM42, which is either in my kydex sheath or just in my front right pocket...

I don't understand carrying more than one knife for daily use. Maybe I'm missing something?

For fishng, hunting, camping, etc. I'll carry a folder and a fixed blade.

I carry either a BM Rukus, a BM 710, or one of my SOG's for EDC......Weak side because my pistol is on my strong side.

On duty, I carry one of my folders and a SOG Powerlock on my web gear.

at least two. during work a sebenza and a pocket knife minimum.
on my days off a Strider GB on the belt, a sebenza in one pocket and a pocket knife in the other. or a buck 110 on the belt if the strider wants to sleep in. or a buck strider if they both are feeling lazy.

Edc to and from work I carry either a Delica, Endura or Native in my right front pocket with a leatherman wave tool in my bag. during cold weather coat season i throw my gator into an outside pocker (great gloves knife)
(can't carry at work its a locked psychiatric unit) ;)

EMS/Rescue duty, Same Spydercos front hip pocket (usually endura), leatherman on duty belt weak side, benchmade rescue hook (very handy cutter:) ) strongside belt, Buck Crosslock sheepsfoot rescue in Turn out coat pocket. :D

I'm right handed. Always an SAK in my left pocket. Sometimes a Leatherman on my left side. Depending on the day and what I'm doing, a medium folder in my right pocket (BM 710, Rat-1, Kershaw S30V Blur, etc.) or a small folder, (S30V Leek, Native, Mini-Grip, etc.) or a large folder in a custom made "friction" sheath on my belt, canted forward for fast draw (Manix, Ruckus, Military). I will occasionally carry my Ronin, Rat-3, or Tempest around town but I don't like to "show off" what I have. That's also why I don't like folders with silver pocket clips. It's like saying: "hey look, I'm carrying a knife"!!! I "feel" people looking at me (even if the aren't) and I'm thinking more about the knife then enjoying be out and about. I usually save the fixed blades for the woods (I live in Colorado) but then it's a 6 or 7 incher. In the winter I don't mind carrying a legal sized fixed blade because I have a coat or sweater on. For Colorado, that's 3.5" max for a concealed knife. Any size is legal if not concealed is legal. One can even carry a pistol in the city if it's not concealed.

Regards

Serrated Culloden is IWB, strong side, edge forward. This is my primary blade that I use for all sorts of stuff.

CF UT-6 is clipped to one of the chest pockets on my field jacket, as it's damn cold out tonight, I spend half my shift in the vehicle, and I might not be able to access my FB in a hurry.

Sounds like you’re a bit paranoid - but I can almost understand, because I also live in S.A - in Joburg. In some places, people would kill you just for fun.

I carry a CRKT M16 EDC usually, or a Cold Steel Ti-Lite. If Im going into town, an Italian Stiletto switchblade. In normal environments, just a CRKT Koji Harra Ichi for practical use... I’d never carry more than one at a time…
The CS Ti-Lite flips open so fast its amazing - I can pull it out of my back pocket and slash or jab in one second, no jokes – its pretty nice once it gets loose…

I hope I never have to use a knife on someone but this is Joburg after all.

I hear ya - I work with a guy who carries no less than five folders on him daily, one big fixed blade in his backpack and who knows how many in his truck. This is a guy who works in an inspection lab at a factory. He has no need to cut much more than the straps on a case of copy paper.

To each his own though - There's one guy on CandlePower forums who EDC's no less than 10 flashlights on him...
