Blade Centering help

Well I have been carrying her for the week and it has been staying centered. I put a tad bit of Loctite on it and it has been perfect.
Thanks for all the help and suggestions.

Follow up question,

What is the best way to sharpen the XM 24? I have a Wicked edge I use, any suggestions on a angle?
Thanks Joe

I usually match the factory edge at 22 degrees per side. Make sure you use a digital angle gauge to measure each side because the XM-24 blade is so thick that you can't use the angle markings on the Wicked Edge, if you set both sides to 22* you'll have 22* on the left side but 20* on the right. If you don't have a stand alone angle finder, an iPhone works great, just get the app called ihandy level

Wow! I didn't know this. Thanks for the information!

Not a bad idea. I only hit the Wicked when after my blades hit concrete or some metals. Most of the time I maintain them with a kitchen type sharpening steel and their "good to go".
I find with the Spanto 24, that I cannot rely (without question) on just throwing it into the Wicked and "lettering her eat". I find myself adjusting the knife and the sharpening arms as necessary to match the 22* (or similar) that has already been mentioned.

Thanks again for all the suggestions, the blade seems centered nice, she has been on the wicked edge and is nice and sharp. Thanks to MODiFiEDZ for the nice video on the Wicked Edge, great video!! SO I thought I would post a few pics of the knife and my only other Hinderer.

Great suggestion,I had wondered how my edges seemed a little off with thick blades, but this made perfect sense! I saw this method a little while back on the forum but did not comment, though I did try it. It works great and I wish I had seen it sooner!
