Has this ever been done before, on a production scale where the typical black teflon (or something similar) coating on blades was simply TOO tactical and aggressive? I would welcome the ability to get a knife with an ATS-34 blade covered in green or blue. If that is simply too weird (pink Spydercos anyone?) then why not a coating that is metal colored? You know, to attack blade rust on marine environments while looking more utilitarian then tactical. Just a thought, if Benchmade started this out you just know it would catch on like wild fire. What do you think?
