Blade coating on F.B.M.

That rough Tan finish reeks havoc on the inside of your sheath, if the blade's a snug fit.

It would be nice to get a kalguard finish like on the one Chris Reeve one piece knives, the best coating I have ever used.

Into eventually being stripped the rest of the way to bare INFI then double cut!

Is that like a sandblast and then a bead blast?
What abut them ridges?
Just blast them off or what?

If you take off them ridges, does that weaken the blade much or what?
