I've had some requests to repost the technique for using the BF Native sheath since the first batch has shipped and people actually have these in their hands,
Blade deployment draw can be done one handed with the knife and sheath at rest. You will be doing a basic tip up inertia opening. Suspend sheath so that the opening hole is oriented toward your dominant hand. Firmly grasp blade by pinching thumb and forefinger together through Spyder Hole, drawing knife with a very brisk wrist snap - the handle will fall away from the blade leaving you in a foil grip. The motion is very quick and all in the wrist. Pulling too slowly or easily will cause the knife to bind. You might want to practice the inertia opening without the sheath at first. Point the blade tip up with knife roughly parallel with your knuckles, and using the above pinch grip through opening hole, briskly snap your wrist. Knife will be open with the blade tip still pointing skywards. With a little practice, this is quicker than drawing an auto and hitting the button. Have fun.
