Drives me BONKERS too. I was thinking a deformed washer as I was reading through the thread (smart huh?
) but I see now, you have it all resolved. Buying a washer on line will cost you more for shipping than the actual piece.

I'm hoping I'll find something locally at a hardware store that will work. You're right... it would cost more to ship it than it's worth.
