I have been away from the forums for a while because I have been busy moving back into school for my final year. But now that I am back, I would like to propose an idea to you guys. I was thinking of putting together a calendar with photos taken by Blade Forum members since some of your pictures are so amazing.

I was thinking of making two calendars:

The first would be a full size calendar with photos of scenery, wildlife, trails, etc.

The second would be a smaller desktop calendar with pictures of knives.


Now here is the cool part. Every Blade Forum member could submit several of his or her favorite pictures that they or their family members have taken and the rest of us can vote on it. I will turn the top 12 pictures into a calendar. I will be doing this through some website and the price is looking to be about $15 for a large calendar and $7 for a small calendar. I think we should be able to add text to different days, so we could put different wilderness skills related dates such as the CT gathering.

A poll should be taken to measure the amount of interest. If there are enough members willing to purchase a callendar or shirt, then maybe the idea will be good to go.
 
i think it's a great idea too...:thumbup: but you definately need to take it up with the higher powers...:(
 
my intentions were not to bypass the people in charge, just to merely gauge interest in the idea. I thought it would be more effective to go talk to them if I could actually say there would be interest.
