I just watched a review of the #92 Eureka. There's a rumor floating around that GEC might be coming out with a single blade model. Spear or wharnie.
Any truth to this?
 
I started to vote for the white owl so that the calico eureka you are looking at might still be available for me... But, then that wouldn't be the right thing to do. I've got three as shown in this fairly poor foto:

That's the problem with starting a thread like this.....there might be none left of either when I'm ready to buy. :D
 
I like the 68 and have been wanting to pull the trigger on one. I love the rounded bolsters. Can't go wrong either way.
 
I've owned the white owl, and own a 92. Both are great knives, but my $ is on the 92. Great way to determine your next purchase, I'd be forced subconciously to buy both.
 
They are both really great patterns. The Eureka is just good looking. The White Owl is a lot of knife in a smaller thinner package. Tough decision.
 
I think most have weighed in on this thread and the Eureka Jack is the clear choice. Once I receive it, I'll post some pics.

Me Too! :) That's why the poll was to choose my NEXT one. It was never a question of either of the two. It was a question of "which one first". ;)

UPDATE....check post #1 for pics. The Eureka has arrived and it's a beauty.
