Well, then you know how to get in! ;) We got a variety of users the past couple nights. Some lulls, I think for now you'll see that on occasion until all the new people get settled and see which friends come in and when they regularly show up.

To everyone else, maybe you ought to get together and decide a night or nights when you want to have a 'knifemaker' chat or just when you want to gather. Wednesday we probably got 30-40 people in between those hours, but if someone comes in, stays for 5 minutes and a group doesn't form, then leaves, it is hard to get it going.

Yep I sure do but I'm currently working night shift and the IT security stuff blocks 99% of anything that's remotely interesting.
 
Sorry guys. I have all I can do to keep up with forums. I'll continue to pass on chats for now. Thanks for the invite though!

Sorry for the delay getting back to you. I got the ban removed as you know but thought I'd explain to everyone what the problem was.

Apparently mibbit occasionally throws up an advert that triggers the NewNet spam filters. I'm assured there's no problem lifting a ban if one occurs due to this. (Do any actual spamming and the ban stays, of course)

I'm putting together a list of the various ways to access the channel and will make it public.

Thanks Pat, much appreciated. I only have time to drop by a few nights a week but it is a nice way to meet folks from here and get to know them a little better since most I will sadly never meet in person.

It is your business if and when you come to chat, we appreciate the company but people have lives and commitments. At least some do. ;) You are welcome whenever you are free and feel like joining us... And like Pat said, we'll have a post with alternatives to the mibbit link if that should ever happen again.

Basically whenever someone else is there. (I don't count)

Brad suggested 9PM Eastern time on Wednesdays would be a good time to gather there. Sounds good to me. Having one set time/day at least allows people to meet and maybe schedule other times.
