Basically . Stonewashing means it's put in a tumbler and washed with an abasive media for an extended period of time.
The end product results in thousands of tiny scratches in all sorts of directions , a finish IMO than resists wear
Best to all other finishes out there.
Thanks guys .. Acouple more questions as you all answered so fast , is the Tumble/Stonewash the only non-custom blade finish offered on the XM range ? and am i right in thinking next months 3" production run will only be spanto grinds ?
At shows and gatherings production models are offered in a wide range of finishes including anodizing and DLC. You gotta be at the right place at the right time to get one. No matter if that means at original point of sale or when they pop up in secondary.
It would be logical to assume the newest 3" will be offered in Spanto as well as Slicer.
