Blade HQ Benchmade SHOT 2015 video

Very interesting. Curious though as they seem to want to but bearings in anything but a flipper where they do the most good. I really hope they arent using the 300 axis as the excuse to not continue inthe flipper market. An axis flipper? Thats like putting a hood scoop on prius. I was also hoping they would do a whole new otf instead of continuos variations of the existing ones.

I am really looking forward to the Valet, any idea when these will be available?

The Loco looks cooler in the video than in the earlier picture. The 1095 bowie is a pretty slick looking keep-in-the-car backup knife, too.

I really like the look of the mini HK 14715's, but they are probably too small for my hand. I like the new shade of G-10 though!

Loco is nice, has some similarity to the Rift...but an oval opening hole? Come on.

Checked them all out today, not bad, but nothing I had to have. I really liked the fit/finish on the 0761 they outdid themselves there, but IMO it's overpriced and tip down only is a automatic deal killer, so is only having a thumb stud on one side. The 0761 I played with also had a pretty weak detent ala the old 0760. I really liked the form of the 477-1 but I'm not an assisted guy. The 484 has way too thick/blocky of a handle for the blade size, but I really liked the asthetics. The 808 is a beast and it will sell well to the massive overbuilt crowd, but it is huge in person. I also liked the 485 with it's scaled down axis lock, it would probably be the only one of the bunch I'd buy personally. It's the perfect dress knife. The Ambi-push button assist/auto was interesting, and would be great if you were a lefty.

I'm with you, I like the looks of the mini. What's interesting to me is that it appears that the stop pin has screws running into it on both sides of the handle -- a rarity for BM's of this size. I've looked at every vid on YouTube from the Shot Show and none show the clip side of it. Though unnecessary really, it soothes my OCD to think it's built this stoutly.

I like to look of the Loco as well, but they'll have to make a mini for me to carry it comfortably.

Called BM Customer Service with my question on the Mini HK... It does indeed have screws running into both sides of the stop pin. That's robust construction for a BM mini-anything. Definitely on the waiting list for one!

Would very much like to add a Pagan to my line-up.... the new HK minis are cute too. Like that blade shape!

I couldn't resist the 14716 in black and brown. I hope the handle is big enough because I sure like the D2 and blade shape!

Yea I went for black on black like the 14715 I have. And soon the 485 will show up, and it is only January!!!
