I am also looking at the HK 14716.... It looks like a very serious challenger for the mini griptilian
and mini rsk that I was considering for EDC!

IMHO the clip point is a very functional blade shape, The D2 DLC blade is a good option for EDC, the G10 grip seems to be God and very slim.
Fitting a contego clip will makes it great to carry
I may only miss a lanyard hole...

Can anyone share his experience with the 14716?
How does it compare to the mini grip?

Not sure if anyone has a 14716 in hand yet. I should be getting one today in the mail, will let you know.
One thing is it will be heavier than a mini Griptilian. also the Griptilian has a better grip for long tasks in dirty conditions the HK is more squared off and not as hand friendly during long tasks.

If I were gong to work in the garden, on the farm or in the woods; Griptilian will win out over the HK. That said the HK will have a more solid and robust feel to it.

This is what got me as well. If they were just doing a different design then that's cool, but saying that they are trying to offer this at a lower price point as compared to the infidel, which sits around 400 and then putting the pagan only 30 bucks cheaper seems silly. If it were say, at 300 flat or 250 then it would be a definite contender. I'm currently looking into buying an Infidel and considered the pagan only for a minute until I saw the minuscule price difference.

Finally after getting the hk14716, how does it feel in hand?
What are your sensations comparing it with the mini rsk?
