Blade HQ Preorder?

I pre-ordered a Spyderco Lil'Native Wharncliffe off Blade HQ. This is my first time using the pre-order function. Looks like I've paid $5 and they will withdraw the other $1XX when shipped. I figured after checkout I'd recieve some timeline but no. What should I expect days, weeks, months? Will they wait to ship my other purchases on that order until the lil' native is available?

Expect an email saying your order has been shipped. Only Spyderco knows that and they ain’t telling. Don’t expect other orders to ship along with the Spyderco, they’ll ship what they have in stock first.
 
I’ve been on preorder lists before and sometimes you’ll see people posting pictures of the same knives here for weeks while you are still waiting. For me it’s just easier to buy it here secondary or wait until I find it in stock.
 
Your best bet is going to be to follow the Spyderco Forum or the Spyderco App for news on when the Lil Native Wharncliffe ships to dealers. Dealers usually begin shipping 1-2 weeks after Spyderco announces "[such & such model] is shipping to dealers." BHQ tends to take a bit longer in my experience. There is a peace of mind in pre-ordering, but it is not always the quickest way to get your knife. Be patient, it will arrive.
 
I pre-ordered a Smock from them several years ago and forgot all about it until it showed up, if memory serves, over a year later.
