Blade Length in Basics

    Just got a Basic #9. Very nice. I measure the
    blade from the handle to the tip to be a bit under 10 inches. The sharpened edge is 9 inches. Are the Basic #7 and Basic #5 "oversized" as well?

    I would appreciate someone measuring their #5 and #7 Basics and post the length of the blade from tip to handle and the length of the sharpened edge.
