?? Blade Length On #12 Toothpicks ??
Overall Length is listed as 4". I am wanting to know actual blade length since we have a 3.5" limit in my home state.

Thanks Folks

GEC #12 have 3" clip blades. At least the ones with muskrat blades do.

Yep, my #12 toothpick is a hair over 2 7/8" from bolster to tip.

Blood Red Jigged Northfield UN-X-LD ordered. Appreciate your quick replies.

The #12 very quickly became a favorite to carry for me:)
Will look forward to how you like yours!

do you guys prefer the tidioutes or the unxlds? Usually i like the aggressive swedges and contoures of unxlds but i really prefer the tidioute toothpick to the unxld toothpick

Don't do this to me. I have a GEC (forum), 3 Tidioutes and 2 Farm N Field. This is the first UN-X-LD I have orderd. LOL

Nice looking wood. I like the toothpick and that blade looks great. Is that an EZ open Barlow? I went online yesterday to order an EZ Open Barlow and decided on the Toothpick instead. All in time.

It's the Easy open Jack, yes , it's a #25 frame...it's a great little slicer...

I really like the looks and feel of the second cut jigged burnt stag, from their original PPP release in 2009.

The #12 pattern is a great pattern. All of mine are of the Powderhorn variety. Here are my three intersperced among some other knives. I really like the way they carry in my pocket - one at a time of course. The blade lengths of the three vary from 2 7/8" to just a hair shy of 3". I think the difference is probably from whoever (or is it whomever) ground the blade of each one.

Whether they are Tidioutes or Northfields doesn't really matter. They are all capable knives -the Northfields being a bit fancier. The pictured Tidioute with ebony covers gets the most use from me and is in my pocket today. Very capable knives.

You won´t regret getting a #12. It´s a great pattern. I was a little worried about how it might feel in pocket. I thought it would be uncomfortable, but it´s just the opposite. It doesn´t matter if front pocket or backpocket carry; if jeans or cargo pants. It seems the knife forms itself like the body of the carrier ;)

Here´s a in hand pic... of my #12 Powderhorn Jack (I got it just a few weeks before and I really love it!)
