Blade length vs handle length

Never really take notice of this when buying a knife, but I have noticed a couple I have pack lots of blade into they’re scales........Southard looks like Spydie stuffed lots of blade in there and my Sebs seem to also.
 
Well, the main thing in a handle is for it to fit in ones hand.
I like a fully extended folder to feel its weight balanced smack at its pivot.
As a blade heavy folder is not my preference.
It does not matter much to me if the blade length
To handle ratio is not perfectly equal.
As most knives never quite are.
Perhaps That's just the nature of the beast.

Sometimes when I look at my small Sebbie 21 it looks like the blade is bigger than the handle. The blade to handle rationis very good.

Are you talking blade length vs handle length or cutting edge vs handle length?

Both really as I don't really care for big choils either.
