A few years ago, not too long after I found this place, Bruce Bump made an offer to anyone who wanted to pay the postage he'd send a big stack of Blade Magazine. At the time I thought, "Who would give away a bunch of issues of Blade Magazine?!" Now I know; the guy whose bookshelves are overflowing onto the floor.
So I've packed up all my (and Bruce's) issues of Blade into two large flat rate boxes. That's a lot of magazines.
I did keep a few issues that are meaningful to me, but mostly - they all gotta go. I packed them in no particular order, so there's no rhyme or reason to what you might get. The issues span 1999 to 2009 with some gaps. There were a couple of years there when I didn't subscribe. Foolish man.
Then I went to Random.org and generated two integers between 10 and 99. The first two people to post the numbers (or closest to them) get an opportunity to send me the postage amount via PayPal, and I'll ship the following Friday. The cost is $14.50, which is the post office charge $13.95 for a large Flat Rate box plus 4% for PayPal's fee. I'll close this on the morning of Friday July 10 (I get up early).
I'll notify the winners on Friday morning and if I don't get a response in a day or two will move on to the next closest guess and so on until I've shipped these boxes outta here.
Good Luck! And thanks for clearing some bookshelf space for me.
